Job Summary:
The Veterinary Technology Instructor is responsible for delivering high-quality educational content and instruction in the field of veterinary medicine, specifically focusing on veterinary nursing and technology. Required Skills and Qualifications:
1. A Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or a Bachelor's degree in Veterinary Technology (or equivalent) from an accredited institution.
2. Current and active licensure or certification as a Veterinary Technologist (LVT, RVT, CVT) or Veterinarian (DVM) in the relevant jurisdiction.
3. Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in veterinary medicine, with a focus on veterinary nursing and technology.
4. Strong knowledge and expertise in veterinary nursing techniques, diagnostic procedures, pharmacology, surgical assistance, anesthesia, radiology, and other related areas.
5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively convey complex concepts and interact with students, colleagues, and industry professionals.
6. Proven ability to adapt teaching methodologies to accommodate diverse learning styles and promote student engagement.
